Beaches, history and places to discover on the Island of Elba

The resort is located a few steps from the Lacona Beach, one of the most popular on the island, both for families with children and for young people. Even in the evening it offers numerous and pleasant opportunities for recreation. On the beach you will find many bathing establishments and you can practice various water sports (sailing, windsurfing and diving center).

The Island of Elba is the largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago; for some years it has been part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park together with Pianosa, Capraia, Montecristo, Gorgona, Giglio and Giannutri. It is one of the few tourist resorts that alternates different travel opportunities in the space of a few kilometers: sea, beaches, sea beds to explore but also mountains with woods and coves framed by the Mediterranean scrub, small hill villages to discover and much more.

You can visit the northern part of the island with the town of Portoferraio, with the Napoleonic Residences Museum and the Elba Minerals Museum. Nearby, also the Hermitage of Santa Caterina and the Orto dei Semplici of Elba. In the western part, however, the town of Marciana is very characteristic with its fortress overlooking the sea.

For lovers of trekking and hiking, do not miss Monte Perone and its path of the Sanctuary of the Butterflies.
